In the sub-mountainous landscape at the foot of Sidorovo hill, where Vlkolínec is situated, you will find many places which offer interesting views of the village itself and of its surroundings. Only when looking from a distance it is possible to get the idea of the landscape setting of the village and to better imagine how the inhabitants of Vlkolínec used all the qualities of the mountain terrain. In the surroundings, we can also find places which offer beautiful views of the West, the High or the Low Tatras, rising above the Liptov Basin. The routes to the viewpoints are usually unmarked, which means you can use a different path on each of your trips and that allows you to explore what Vlkolínec has to offer in its surroundings, and perhaps to discover a new, special and unique, view of Vlkolínec.
