Farmer’s yard no. 9050 – 9051

– this protected monument site includes a traditional double house and a barn
– the farmer’s yard is situated in the centre of Vlkolínec, on the east side of the road, near the bell tower
– the double house was built in 1875
– the farmer’s yard is a national cultural monument registered under number 2866/1-2

– the house is situated in the front, northern section of the yard
– it is oriented in the west – east direction
– it is one of the biggest houses in Vlkolínec
– both parts of the double-house consist of an entrance hall, a main room, a storage chamber and a side storage chamber
– under the front room, there is a cellar
– the front facade and the yard facade are painted in green
– it has a high, stone underpinning, painted in red
– it has double, two-wing, four-panel windows
– both parts of the double house have their entrances from the yard, and they share one double-flight access staircase with wooden handrail
– the stairs and the skirting are covered by an extended gutter
– the cellar is entered from the yard, through a wooden one-wing door
– the house has a saddle, shingle roof with angled shields
– at the top of the front shield, there is a roof window and a half-circle decoration with a peg
– on the northern side, the double house has two chimneys and two dormer windows protected by roofs

– the barn is located behind the house
