Roman-Catholic Church of the Visitation of Virgin Mary

– the church is situated at the eastern end of Vlkolínec, near the cemetery
– running by the church is the original access road to Ružomberok
– the church was built in 1875
– before its construction, there used to be a chapel
– the neoclassical one-nave church has a tower with an onion-shaped roof and a double cross at the top
– the sacristy was added later
– in addition to religious service, it was also used for cultural purposes
– there are fourteen paintings of the way of the cross
– to the left of the entrance, there is a statue of Virgin Mary
– to the right of the entrance, there is a wooden mission cross from 1927
– placed on the side facade of the church is a memorial plaque in honour of priest Pavol Horský, who used to be active in this church
– the church is a national cultural monument registered under number 11795/1
