We recommend always combining your visit to Vlkolínec with a hike or a trip in the surroundings. You will find many places worth seeing in direct surroundings of the village. On each trip, you can explore the surroundings of Vlkolínec and learn about the conditions in which people used to live here. In the close surroundings, there are interesting viewpoints, natural attractions, springs or small farm buildings (stalls). The surrounding fauna and flora of the Great Fatra Mountain are also exemplary of the sub-mountainous landscape.
